Sean was architecturally responsible for Exwick Heights Primary School, Exeter, which was completed in December 2007 and subsequently won / was shortlisted for the following awards:

- 2008 Green Apple Awards: ‘National Gold Non-Residential Award’
- 2008 LABC Southwest Awards: ‘Best Environmental Building’
- 2008 LABC Southwest Awards: shortlisted for ‘Best Community Building’
- 2008 RIBA Town &Country Awards: shortlisted for 'Best Environmental Building'
