End of Year Review

November 31st is our end-of-year, and as always it’s arrival has given us cause to reflect on the past twelve months. We’ve been as busy as ever with new commissions as well as seeing a range of projects come to their conclusion. This includes projects we have helped administer on site as well as those for which we have simply provided design drawings for clients to take forward themselves. All of the projects we have seen to conclusion have come in on budget.

This year our range across the sectors has expanded. We are currently working with the MoD as well as four churches, a shop, a hotel, a mixed-use commercial building, and two community hubs. We are very pleased to be working closely with Park Life to help deliver their community cafe building in Heavitree Pleasure Grounds. As ever, we have also continued to work with homeowners extending or remodelling their homes, including one barn conversion to provide a complete ‘new’ dwelling not far North of Exeter.

We are looking forward to working through this range of projects and focussing on what we want to deliver – great projects for you. Already looking to next year, the sketch book is filling up with new projects and a substantial amount of commissions this early on means we know we have lots of fun to look forward to on the drawing board. In the meantime we thought you’d enjoy our pictorial review of the year, below. Notably, we are pleased to support Interface Uganda and Crisis UK with our charitable giving this year.

We move now into our eighth year of practice and despite the political turbulence and economical uncertainty, are pleased that the majority of our clients are confident in what the future holds and keen to take projects forward. We look forward to helping you with yours.
