New year (still?)

It’s been a busy start to the year; it says something that it’s taken us two months to find the time to say so. So far we have submitted two planning applications while receiving consent for five projects and work towards submitting a further four. We have three projects in the process of being considered for building regulations consent or about to be. Meanwhile two projects are currently out to tender while we are working on three others that shortly will be. We are dealing with site queries from three projects that are on site and actively administering one further contract…

But this is the normal run of things; projects all run on their own timescales and work takes place in pulses, with much overlap as we bring each to the relevant key stages. This means work is varied: from outline sketch proposals to detailed technical documents and specification, and occasionally three-dimensional modelling.

We are pleased to find a diverse range of work on the drawing board at the moment. Extensions and conversions for domestic clients are being run alongside, for example, fire-regulation works to a Listed Building, a new gatehouse for Wyvern Barracks, heating in Broadclyst church, and service buildings in the grounds of Poltimore House. Design work on Park Life’s new community cafe and hub will commence in earnest soon, too. We’ll hope to bring you up to date images of these and other projects as they emerge.
