We have several projects on site and about to start on site, at the moment. The refurbishment of the Hall Church, Pinhoe, with new roof, ceilings, lights and decoration throughout, plus some other minor repairs, has brought a fresh new look whilst being able to retain some original characterful features, including clay roof finials. This will see it ready for many more years of use at the centre of Pinhoe’s community.
In St Thomas, an extension to the ground floor of a three-storey dwelling has allowed rationalisation and enlargement of the living spaces to ensure they benefit from access to the garden, whilst creating a lovely light family kitchen/dining room.
Work progresses on extensive refurbishment and extension to a bungalow in Sidmouth, work which is programmed to take 5 months to complete. The majority of the ground works are complete including significant retaining structures to form raised patios beyond the rear garden room extension, another light-filled space designed to take advantage of the open garden aspect. Internally floors, walls, bathrooms and kitchens have been removed and re-built, complete new electrical and plumbing systems are being installed, and the whole house wrapped in insulation to keep it snug and energy-efficient.
In the meantime several projects for kitchen extensions, another church toilet (Honiton Baptist Church), and refurbishment works will soon be starting on site. Works to build a new gatehouse at Wyvern Barracks are also due to go to tender soon.
